CNC controlled Pipe Profile Cutting Machine (PPCM) is designed for highly accurate cuts of pipes and tubes using Oxy-fuel (acetylene) or plasma technology. The PPCM 650 is a 5-axis CNC pipe cutting machine that clamps and rotates the pipe in a chuck during cutting. The standard PPCM machine is prepared for oxy-fuel cutting, however as an option can be equipped with plasma providing the fastest cutting on thinner pipes and possibility to cut stainless pipes. The most important feature and advantage of PPCM 650 is its user friendly software including a wide scope of standard macros representing the typical cutting shapes. Integrated library of macros allows for parametric definition of typical pipe joints and fast shape programming onsite directly from machines’ control panel just after a short training. Off-line programming is also possible by means of dedicated PPCM SIM PC software containing the same macros library. Pipe joints can be prepared remotely in the office to keep machine operating, increasing process efficiency and reducing downtime.
Material saving – Minimizing the material waste to length of 100mm by using optional long jaws, thus additionally saves of 340 mm of pipe compare to standard jaws. This optional equipment works similar like standard jaws in the range of pipe OD 100m to 330mm and max pipe weight of 1 300 kg.
